Promoted to be company’s first Vice President of Marketing with the primary responsibility to grow our Farm to Feet sock brand and develop new private label manufacturing business.
Directed the development of and implemented Farm to Feet’s branding strategy, overseeing a nationally based marketing and public relations team.
Created a content driven marketing program that used authentic storytelling to amplify Farm to Feet’s unique narrative:
U.S. Materials, U.S. Manufacturing, and U.S. Workers,
Developed a differentiated brand value proposition that enabled Farm to Feet to launch as the only 100% American sock brand in the market.
Executed a comprehensive omnichannel strategy to drive sales, resulting in year-over-year growth in Farm to Feet that realized:
an average of 60% annual sales growth,
a doubling of retail doors from 2014 – 2018, and
a 100% increase in direct-to-consumer online sales from 2015 – 2018

Director of Sustainability

Hired as the company’s first Director of Sustainability – tasked with developing and directing company-wide sustainability strategy with emphasis on internal improvements, meeting customer requirements, and establishing the company as a leader in sustainable manufacturing.
Coordinated multi-department efforts to integrate sustainability initiatives into company’s core processes and procedures, resulting in an average of 10% reductions in waste sent to the landfill, water consumption, and energy usage.
Supported the development of the first industry-wide and widely recognized sustainability tool for the outdoor and apparel industries. Was instrumental in both developing the standards and pilot testing the tool with key customers.
Served as one of ten recognized sustainability leaders on the Outdoor Industry Associations Sustainability Advisory Council, supporting the development and execution of the industry’s corporate responsibility strategy.
Executed the company’s first use of the HIGG Index and developed the initial improvement strategy – Nester Hosiery was recognized as one of the first domestic manufacturers to use this sustainability tool.

Led national cross-functional team responsible for delivery of electronic network systems to the Navy, streamlining efforts across five separate contracts. Served as the primary interface with customer on technical and programmatic issues and was the key liaison between interdepartmental managers in meeting production and contract deliverables.
